The International Live Events Association (ILEA) is the principal association representing the creative events professional, globally.
Comprised of more than 7,200 professionals in 38 countries, the members of the International Live Events Association represent live event producers, caterers, designers, decorators, florists, destination management companies, rental companies, audio-visual and special effects specialists, venue managers and many more event professionals.
The ILEA Greater Atlanta chapter holds an educational or social meeting once every month, showcasing different event locations and vendors around the metro Atlanta area. In addition to monthly meetings, the chapter also hosts networking and educational events outside the monthly meeting that include: Breakfast Club, Happy Hour and special seminars. The National Association for Catering & Events (NACE) is the oldest and largest professional association that addresses all aspects of the catering industry. Through the collective efforts of members, local chapters, committees and the Foundation of NACE, this association is at the forefront of culinary industry issues. NACE has over 40 chapters nationwide offering monthly meetings that feature nationally renown speakers, educational programs, idea sharing and networking. Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is the largest meeting and event industry association worldwide. Founded in 1972, the organization provides innovative and relevant education, networking opportunities and business exchanges, and acts as a prominent voice for the promotion and growth of the industry. MPI has a global community of 60,000 meeting and event professionals including more than 17,000 engaged members and its Plan Your Meetings audience.
