As events have moved toward creating a valuable experience for the attendee, we have also seen a trend in the live events industry to ensure that the event itself has a deeper meaning than just a “party”. It’s not uncommon for an event to now have an altruistic purpose – filling the need to give back.
In 2015, when the Allies, the “event” – became Allie Awards, Inc. certified 501 (c)(3) public charity, it was imperative to lay the foundation for success with an all-volunteer Board of Directors. Members of the board include past Allie Awards Event Chairs along with representatives from our five Strategic Partner associations: ACVB, ILEA, MPI, NACE, WIPA.
Together, the members of the board attend regular meetings, have a fiduciary responsibility to properly manage the funds and oversee the strategic mission of the organization to support continued growth which allows us collectively to give back to our community and to the industry we all know and love.
We are excited to share that at the close of 2022, we have officially changed the name of our not-for-profit 501(C)(3) organization with the State of Georgia to be now known as the Allie Foundation of Georgia, Inc. This will allow us to create a greater level of year round engagement within our community and some separation from the annual event known at The Allie Awards.
Meet the organizations amplifying the reach and success of the Allie Foundation and Awards. Our Strategic Partners are essential allies in our mission, fostering growth, enhancing visibility, and contributing to the vibrancy of our community throughout the year.
Our gala could not happen without the generous donations from our sponsors. Learn more about each sponsor on our Award Sponsor!
